thin breaking-news BLP
[edit]I rewrote a sentence as follows:
In June of 2018 and early December 2018, tentative news reports circulated that Klokov attempted to insinuate himself into the controversial project of Donald Trump building a Trump Tower in Moscow through outreach to Michael Cohen and Ivanka Trump.
Previously, this simply said he was "involved in". That's a step too far. He can't become "involved in" unless one of the principal parties invites him to become involved. It appears that his attempts to secure invitation on the American side were rebuffed, and there's no reliable information about his formal or quasi-formal status on the Russian side.
I'm not wedded to my changes, but please exercise caution in a BLP on this kind of thin, tentative reportage. — MaxEnt 02:35, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
Vanished
[edit]This article is about the Olympic weightlifter. For Dimitri Klokov the former Russian government press secretary who was famously confused for the weightlifter, see Mueller report and Michael Cohen (lawyer).
As it stands today, neither of those article contain the word "Klokov". — MaxEnt 00:27, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
